We wish to thank all our families for using makeups instead of coming to class when a family member or student is feeling less than well. This is especially necessary if there is a cough, runny nose or fever.
As a reminder:
  • There is no need to Call us if you cannot make class for any reason. We will mark the student absent and you can schedule a makeup at any time while enrolled. This is always our practice.
  • If there is a significant illness or extended absence, please call us to come up with an option that will work for your family.
We want to share the procedures we are taking to ensure the safest and healthiest environment for our dancers, families, and staff:
1.     Please come to class a few minutes early to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. We invite our family members to use sanitizer at the desk, as always. Here is a great video on effective handwashing provided by Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles Click Here
2.     All teachers will thoroughly wash their hands before their first class of the day and between classes as well as use hand sanitizer.
3.     As always, our Dance Room, Lobby, and Bathrooms will be cleaned and sanitized daily.
4.     We will sanitize all door handles, light switches, seating with sanitizing wipes/spray throughout the day.
5.     Viewing windows will be cleaned multiple times a day
6.      Ballet Barres will be sanitized when used during the class
7.     All props will be sanitized after each use
8.     Stamps at the end of class will only be placed on the forearm instead of the hand for students 3 and up.
9.     Glitter will be put on the child’s arm and not their hand.
Lastly, we have great experience working with the County Health Department when there are any community health concerns. It is likely that most families never think of this agency, but we have found the staff are efficient, dedicated and effective. We will follow their advice and insure that our families are updated with important news and updates should they be necessary.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff at any time.
Happy and Healthy Dancing!
