Tots & Tutus (16-30 months)
This class is a wildly interactive introduction to dance for your little one! The class is full of stimulation in sight, touch and sound. Your child will begin to learn terminology and basic dance movements while incorporating early childhood development techniques to make it truly magical for every child! We use props, bubbles, body movement and gross motor skill development games. We keep pace with your child’s sense of play as well as their desire to learn. Ballet/Tap (2-3.5 Years)

At this age, dance should be about learning to nurture creativity in movement. Developing coordination and promoting self-esteem, combined with learning basic positions and terminology, are the building blocks of our wildly creative Ballet and Tap Class. Through story dancing, weekly themes, and the use of hundreds of props and costumes Creation Station becomes a magical dance experience for every child! **One Adult Required To Sit Inside The Classroom With The Child

Princess Series Ballet with Tap (3.5-8 Years)
Come stretch your imagination, as well as your toes, in the storybook dance class based on dances from your favorite fairy tales and ballet stories! Each ten week session features 2 stories that will teach your child how to “tell a story with their body”. Each session will focus on a different fairy tale that has been turned into a ballet…as well as some that are just children’s classics. We will feature Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, and many more. Your child will explore elements of creative movement, ballet, tap, and jazz, in this delightful trip to enchanted kingdoms!

Ballet (3 & 4 year olds or 5 – 7 years)

is a fun, high energy Pre-Hip Hop/Tap Class for 3 & 4 year olds! This predominantly boy filled class promotes creative expression, full body movement, gross motor games, and teamwork in a wildly creative environment. Bring your boundless energy, listening skills, awesome attitude, giggles, sneakers & taps and learn to break it down!…

Pip Hop (3-5 Yrs)
Has your pip squeak wanted to “dance like the big kids”? Well now is their chance… Pip Hop is Hip Hop for the younger set. Our Pip Hop class is full of rhythm, body awareness, simple choreography and high energy craziness all set to cool funky music! If you have a pip-squeak that can’t stop moving bring them to this simplified hip hop class to get their groove on.

Ballet Jazz (4 Years and Up)
Our classes are a combination of ballet and jazz in which the student’s primary objective is to tell a story or convey emotions with their body. These classes begin with an alternating barre/center warm-up and are followed by technique/turns/jumps, across the floor, Floor work, and choreography. Children will start to learn how to “story dance” in this wonderfully creative movement class.

Ballet/Tap (5 Years and Older)
Once a child has reached this age, we will begin to incorporate more elements of traditional ballet technique. Developing strength, balance, coordination and flexibility, your child will start to learn proper body alignment, as well as barre, and center floor exercises. Our classes will challenge the students both mentally and physically, yet still keep that sense of creativity. At this stage, your child will be asked to wear appropriate ballet attire including hair tied away from their face. This creates an environment free from distractions and enables the students to feel like true dancers!

Tap (5 Years and Older)
Tap Class is a fun rhythmic exercise and dance form which is offered for kids ages 5 years and older. Rooted in Scottish, Irish and African-American History, tap offers a variety of styles and techniques. The classes stress the basics of tap and rhythm, using fun and improvisational games, skills and combinations. The classes become more rigorous and demanding as the children grow and improve.

Hip Hop (5-7 year olds and 9 – 12 year olds and 13 – 16 year olds)
Hip Hop is an explosive, funky dance style that combines memory, coordination, rhythm games, and loads of energetic FUN! Come learn the latest dance moves from all of your favorite video stars!! By combining fast paced rhythms and movement exercises, your child will get an AWESOME workout without realizing they are breaking a sweat! We will choreograph routines and learn the fundamentals of this funky dance style without sacrificing the joy of dance or the thrill of being a “hip” kid!

Musical Theatre (5-8 Years)
If your child needs to sing as well as dance, then this class is playing their song! Children will explore the music and movements of some of Broadways’ greatest hits! Your child will learn to vocalize properly, convey emotions through song, dance to show a storyline, memorize scenes, play theater games and help to choreograph. This class is performance based and each term will culminate in some show stopping numbers. Let’s teach them that there is something else out there besides Disney!

Lyrical Ballet (5-8 Years)
Lyrical Ballet interprets the lyrics of a song through movement. The dancer becomes the actor and tells a story through technique and emotion with their bodies instead of their voices. Lyrical students usually have a good background in ballet and/or jazz as these classes assume that technique is already present and primarily focus on emotion. It is the progression from technical ballet class to learning how to actually “dance” a ballet.

B-Boys Crew (5-8 Years Ye)
This is a fun, high energy Hip Hop/Breakdancing Class for 5-8 year olds! This boys only class promotes creative expression, full body movement, gross motor games, and teamwork in a wildly creative environment. Bring your boundless energy, listening skills, awesome attitude, giggles and sneakers and learn to break it down!

Ballet I (6-10 Years)
These ballet classes begin with training at the barre to practice proper body placement, warm and strengthen muscles, and build technique that is brought to the center. In the center, dancers work on adagio (slow, controlled movements that combine strength and flexibility), petit allegro (small, quick jumps that build speed and ease of motion), allegro (more dramatic movements that are a natural extension of petit allegro), and grand allegro (large, spectacular steps that us a combination of skills learned throughout class). In our intermediate and advanced level classes, strength and flexibility training are incorporated to supplement technique. These classes are stepping stone to our Pointe class.

Tap I (6-10 Yrs)
Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sound of one’s tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument. As such, it is also commonly considered to be a form of music. Tappers can create a variety of percussive rhythms with their feet by tapping, sliding, and clicking their tap shoes on the floor. CSA Tap I class will teach rhythm, coordination, basic tap terminology and choreography. Our Tap II class is designed to refine tap skills, while moving beyond the fundamentals of tap. Students will be taught intricate new steps, rhythms, patterns and combinations in a mash up of many styles including Stomp, Broadway, Irish, Tango ect. CSA

Jazz/Hip Hop (6-16 Years)
Classes are broken down by age. Our classes will explore hip hop and contemporary and classical jazz dance, which draws inspiration from funk, blues, pop, soul and modern. The class will incorporate strength building, flexibility, proper technique, floor progressions and combinations as well as choreography and styles from some of the most popular and current choreographers today! Jazz class will strongly encourage personal style and allow students to explore styles including: contemporary, Broadway, lyrical and more!

Contemporary Jazz (9-16 Years)
Our classes will explore contemporary and classical jazz dance which draws inspiration from funk, blues, pop, soul and modern. The class will incorporate strength building, flexibility, floor progressions and combinations as well as choreography and styles from some of the most popular and current Contemporary Choreographers today! We will explore lyrical as well as percussive disciplines and offer dancers the ability to develop their own personal Contemporary style.

CSA (Creation Station Academy 6-16 Years)
Creation Station Academy is for the dancer who wants a more formal training situation, but doesn’t feel the need to be placed in a competitive atmosphere. All of the CSA classes are structured and fairly rigorous for the child wanting to bring their dancing to the next level.

CSA Ballet I (CSA 6-10 Years)
These Ballet classes begin with training at the barre to practice proper body placement, warm and strengthen muscles, and build technique that is brought to the center. In the center, dancers work on adagio (slow, controlled movements that combine strength and flexibility), petit allegro (small, quick jumps that build speed and ease of motion), allegro (more dramatic movements that are a natural extension of petite allegro), and grand allegro (large, spectacular steps that use a combination of skills learned throughout class). In our intermediate and advanced level classes, strength and flexibility training are incorporated to supplement technique. All students learn at their own pace and level. Class participation is not based on ability, but the ability to focus for the 50 minutes is required!

Jazz I (CSA 6-10 Years)

Jazz has become one of the most popular dance styles in recent years, mainly due to its popularity on television shows, theatre, movies, music videos and commercials. The style is fun and energetic and has the ability to showcase a dancer’s individual style and originality. To excel in jazz, a strong background in ballet encourages grace and balance. As in most forms of dance, technique is the foundation for the CSA Jazz Program. In particular, our students will benefit from a sound working knowledge of learned sequences incorporating fall and release, rolling, and the body’s response to gravity. CSA Jazz class will strongly encourage personal style as well as technique, and allow a student to explore many styles including: contemporary, Broadway, lyrical and more

Leaps and Turns (CSA Students)
Leaps and Turns technique class is designed to help dancers perfect ballet movements and learn all of the most contemporary ballet/jazz leaps and turns. This class specifically concentrates on the technical aspects of dance by working on various series of jumps, leaps, and turns with weight and direction changes. Students will learn to show more of a command of skills involving initiation of movement and weight shifts. The student will develop balance, strength, elevation, and body alignment. This class also has a component dedicated to stretch, an essential quality for flexibility and serious dancers.

Pointe ( Years 11 & Up)
Pointe dancer must have studied dance for a minimum of four years and study ballet at least twice each week. Dancers will not be permitted to begin Pointe until age 11. When the teacher feels a student is ready to train for Pointe work, she will be asked to study ballet in demi Pointe for a minimum of six months. When the teacher sees the required strength of the foot, the student will be instructed in where to obtain a proper Pointe fitting. In order to remain in Pointe, the student must maintain good attendance due to the rigors of the discipline.

Summer Camp (Summer Camp 3.5-6 Years)
Our 3 hour dance camps allow your child to use their imagination through dance, art, games, acting, storytelling and more! If you have a child that wants to spend their summer busting a move, check our different styles of camp!! ($60 Per Camp Day)

Adult Ballet (Years 18 and Up)
Taking part in an Adult Ballet class is good for your body as well as your mind. This class is for students who are new to ballet, students who want to dance, but never had the opportunity, and those who have danced before and want to begin again. Besides promoting cardiovascular fitness and posture, this introductory class provides a welcoming and friendly class for adults with no prior experience. You will learn the basic positions and concepts of Ballet with exercises at the barre and in the center, while strengthening and toning your body to create longer and leaner “dancer muscles!”
